The important achievement of "Karabakh Carpet" company within three years of activity is the expansion of activities in terms of both production, product sale, geography and improvement of the product quality.
In an interview with Artsakhpress, the director of “Karabakh Carpet" Company Sevak Khachatryan noted that for many years the Armenian tradition of carpet weaving was interrupted and in the initial period it was difficult to restore it. As Khacahtryan informs, five workshops were operating in Artsakh, in Shushi, Stepanakert, Chartar, Hadrut and Berdzor.
"Unfortunately, now three workshops are operating, the workshops in Hadrut and Berdzor closed because of the problem of the product realization. The overall number of the employees exceeds 117, and their average salary is 75,000 AMD," noted Khachatryan.
