Video proving innocence of Sari Tagh residents: action (video)
7-year-old Anushik has come in front of the Presidential Palace on special purpose, “I have come to ask to free my father.”
Her father is Eduard Zeytunyan, who is charged with use of violence against a policeman in Sari Tagh on July 17. Today they have even deciphered a well-known video and made a poster with photos, “The policemen wanted to use pistols. We have a restored video, which shows how everything started. They demanded to open the road, the people are clearly explaining in the video. If they thought about our security on July 29, when they blew up the apartment in Sari Tagh in front of which there was a gas pipe and they threw the grenades without switching off,” added Eduard Zeytunyan’s wife Lala Vernetsyan.
Besides Eduard Zeytuntsyan, three more defendants are involved in the case; they are Harutyun Torosyan, Hrayr Isakhanyan and Andranik Kyoseyan.
“I demand that all the people imprisoned in connection with Sari Tagh events be freed,” says Harutyun Torosyan’s nephew Davit Torosyan.
Sari Tagh residents hope that after the display of the photos there will be some changes. “Here it is evident that our guys are innocent. The quarrel broke out because the policemen approached in a non-professional way,” adds Toros Torosyan.
The court hearing into this case is set on November 8 in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts. Before that the action participants want to note that every day the children are waiting for the return of their fathers.
