Turkish opposition MP: “The name of Turkey may be changed”: ermenihaber
Baris Yarkadis, lawmaker of the main opposition force in Turkey, Republican People’s Party (CHP), has revealed interesting details from the topics discussed inside the party. According to Turkish oppositional Cumhuriyet newspaper, Yarkadis particularly said, “There are rumors that if the presidential system is confirmed, the country may be renamed ‘New Turkey’ or ‘Presidential Republic of Turkey’.” Read details here
