Prayer can heal people with HIV or AIDS (video)
Armen Nersisyan, who heals people by a prayer book of 10th-century Armenian theologian and philosopher Gregory of Narek, says his eight years' experience of working has shown that the power of prayer really can help to heal HIV-positive people. “HIV/AIDS is expressed through mental and bodily disorders. In the first case, symptoms suggest dementia, memory impairments, strange behavior and emotional changes. There can be no changes in the second case. Medicine cannot regulate these types of disorders and prayer becomes a remedy for the mental cure and spiritual salvation of a person,” Armen Nersisyan said. He added that the the healing effects and medicinal benefits of prayer were proved scientifically long ago. "Prayer affects the gene and regulates the inflammatory processes. Experience has shown that patients who believe in God can cope with illness, pain, stresses and suffering more easily," he said. When asked whether his methodology offers cure for HIV/AIDS or for the mental suffering caused by the illness, the specialist said, “A person can be fully cured if he has true faith in prayer and speech therapy. Though I have not come across such patients myself, I already spot changes. Once the mental sector is regulated, the viral load falls and the immune system is fully restored. However, this treatment is possible only for those patients who really believe in the power of prayer,” Mr. Nersisyan said in conclusion.
