Ministry: Close and heavy-going roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies reports that some roads in Armenia are heavy-going because of heavy snowfall and raging blizzard. The roads in Aparan, Aragats, ARtik, Maralik, Ashotsk, as well as Jajur and Vardenyats mountain passes are difficult to pass. Besides, the roads in Ashotsk are closed. It is snowing in Talin, Maralik, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashtarak, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Tashir, Tumanyan, Dilijan, Ijevan, Noyemberyan, Tavush, Gavar, Kotayk, Hrazdan, Sevan. Chambarak, Baghramyan, Yeghvard and Jermuk. Snow removal is underway on the aforesaid roads.
