Lawmaker to Minister: We all know that no one will give a loan to anyone (video)
Armenian Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan today introduced at the National Assembly the draft amendments to the Criminal Code that criminalize illicit enrichment. Lawmaker Edmon Marukyan addressed a question to the Minister of Justice, saying ‘in their declarations a number of officials say they have either taken loans or paid interest-bearing debts. “But we all know that nowadays no one will give a loan to anyone,” Mr. Marukyan stressed in his speech. Arpine Hovhannisyan said in reply that in the given situation they can offer one solution – to increase the cash withdrawal limit. “In this way it will be possible to prevent this illegality,” she said.
