Hard and unsuccessful year: the year of 2016 according to citizens (video)
For most of Yerevan residents 2016 hasn’t differed from previous years. People’s lifestyle is mainly conditioned by social-economic situation. “For us 2016 hasn’t been a good year, there has been much misfortune, difficulties, obstacles, which we were unable to overcome,” says one of Yerevan residents. 2016 has been restless year for Armenians. In April military actions in Artsakh woke up many. Summer months were tense; actions of “Sasna Dzrer” were also notable. Has the country developed during this year or has the course been negative? “I can see nothing developed, absolutely, I can see only minus,” says one of the citizens. Social-economic situation of the residents also hasn’t improved. “It was unsuccessful year, very bad for the people; the percentage of poverty was higher compared with previous years.
