Development of Internet affected the work of “Spyur” information company. Two years ago the number of phone calls exceeded 2.5 million, today that number has decreased to 2 million; instead the number of Internet users has increased. Spyur operated also on holidays. Few callers inquired about cultural institutions. “Number of those, who inquired about theatres and saunas, remained the same,” said Director of the company Ashot Grigoryan, adding that people inquired mostly about air tickets and air flights. This year marks 25th anniversary of Spyur’s work. The lists of the company are unique summaries on the country’s economy. The director notes that during the recent years there have been many companies, which are closing down, “I think that those are economic problems and I can also see very often shops with such notes ‘For rent’, ‘Closed’…” Ashot Grigoryan knows by his own experience that in order not to lose your place in Armenia’s business world, you should always work.
