Some roads difficult to pass
The RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies informs that as of January 26, 09:30, it is snowing on the roads of Masis, Artashat, Ararat, Ashtarak, Yeghvard, Maralik, Akhuryan, Ashotsk, Aparan, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Martuni, Yeghegnadzor, Sisian, Vayk and Meghri regions. Vardenyats mountain pass is closed due to storm. Berd-Chambarak road is difficult to pass due to strong wind and low visibility. There is fog on Talin and Meghri highways. The road construction companies carry out round-the-clock supervision on the RA interstate and republican roads, implementing road cleaning activities with salt and sand. Drivers are urged to use only winter tires and have tire chains. Other RA interstate and republican roads are open.
