Former Minister of Culture of RA Tamara Poghosyan dies
Former Yerevan Council of Elderly Member Tamara Poghosyan died today because of a serious illness. Tamara Poghosyan was born in July 17, 1949, in Tavush village. In 1967-1973, she studied at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics in Yerevan State University (YSU). For many years, she has carried out scientific and political activity. In 2003-2004, she was the Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. On May 5, 2013, she was elected as a member of the Yerevan Council of Elders on the proportional list of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).
