ILLEGAL TREE CUTTING IN THE "VICTORY" PARK
Support A1+!Illegal tree cutting is carried out in the "Victory" park.
These days tenants of the buildings next to the park became witnesses of such a happening. The tree cutter showed a document to the alarmed tenants. The document confirmed him to be the territory owner.
The head of architecture and town-planning department of the Municipality Mr. Kotolikyan informed that on 8-th August in 2000 the territory was given for rent to a certain Minasyan to be improved. The Municipality is unaware of the tree cutting processes.
According to the Land Code parks are considered plots of common use land and the 49-th article of Code forbides renting of those territories.
Nevertheless, the 1-st forest park cutting is continued.
