Andranik Manukyan, the Minister of Communication and Transport backs up Robert Kocharyan's standpoint and refutes the statements made by Grigor Amalyan, the head of the TV and Radio National Commission. The president insisted that there were free frequency ranges for broadcsating TV programs all over Armenia. And the TV and Radio National Commission head said that there were not any.

As the Minister said there were frequency ranges that were not being used or licenced but were not being used.

The Minister assured that Armenia participates in the works of TVCommunication International Union in Geneva and is even able to pay for its membership with difficulty.

By the way, Andranik Manukyan also announced that the Department ruled by him had no role in cutting off "A1+" TV Channel transmitter. The transmitter is in TV tower that is under the Ministry guidance. The Minister suggested to move the transmitter to "A1+" TV building, engage it and begin broadcasting. Andranik Manukyan is also ready to give the car of the Ministry for that purpose.
