A part of yesterday’s march from Liberty Square to House of Parliament is arrested. At the night marchers are already taken into police custody. Not only opposition parties activists, but also those aren’t involved in any party, were detained. Similar cases of detention were recorded not only in Yerevan, but also in other regions of the country.
Organizers of the march say authorities are trying to escalate tension in the republic to provoke opposition, which demands president resignation, into committing illegal steps. However they intend to continue struggle by exclusively legal means.
