WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AUTHORITIES ARE NOT ELECTED BY PEOPLE

Social

The ordinary “careless scrape” roused by Authorities, took place today.

The employees of IA Territorial Department and State Car Inspection had closed Talin part of Yerevan-Ashtarak highway since 10:00 AM.

Buses and minibuses were examined thoroughly. Policemen wondered where the people were going and what for. Becoming aware of they were going to the neighbouring village to meet relatives for instance, the policemen advised them to make visits other times and turned back buses. There were people among those coming who aimed to take part in rallies. They even decided to get Yerevan on foot.

Suren Hovhannissyan, Aragats villager, had tried to split the “policemen-wall”. But his attempt turned out to be a misfortune.

One of the policemen run after him. Knowing well what would happen if the policeman got him /15 days of imprisonment/, Hovhannissyan avoided him and run away. Passing by car driver didn’t notice Hovhannissyan appeared before. He couldn’t stop the car and hit him.

Suren Hovhannissyan was unconsciously taken to Ashtarak hospital with grave cranial-cerebral wounds and fractures . His state there was evaluated as grave and doctors advised to take him to Yerevan. Now Hovhannissyan is in the Reanimation Department of Republican Hospital. The Head Physician of Department says Hovhannissyan breathes through the apparatus for artificial respiration.

37-year-old Suren Hovhannissyan, father of 2 children wouldn’t be knocked down by a car, if Authorities didn’t broke Constitution and didn’t prohibit citizens of Armenia to enjoy their Constitutional rights .

Such misfortune wouldn’t have happened if Police Head hadn’t given an illegal order to block all the roads to Yerevan. Such accident wouldn’t take place if Authorities were not afraid of people. And finally, it wouldn’t occur if Authorities were elected and not “with mandate”.
