Support A1+!On November 8 in “Azdak” Club Armen Poghosyan, Chair of the Consumers’ Union of Armenia talked about the transport problem and water pollution in Yerevan.
As to water pollution in Arabkir and Kentron Communes, he said that the proper bodies had given contradictory information for 13-14 days thus deceiving the public. No official version has been given till now.
Mr Poghosyan informed that Consumers’ Union was going to claim for damage of the citizens. He also informed that they had appealed to PM to find a solution to the problem.
CU Chair also referred to the transport problems of Yerevan, stating that purposeful policy had been conducted to do away with the public conveyances and it is now intolerable to pin hopes on minibuses alone since more than the half of them run illegally often without the proper technical testing.
Armen Poghosyan thinks the public transportation to be restored to solve the transport problem of Yerevan.
