Flood because of the snow melting on March 6 destroyed a part of the motor road through Akhalqalaq-Akhaltckha canyon. No other road connecting Akhalqalaq to Akhaltckha is functioning now.

According to “A-Info”, Akhalqalaq and Ninotsminda districts are deprived of land communication with the district center and the state in general.

Despite the bad weather, the district bodies promised to reconstruct the damaged part of Akhalqalaq-Akhaltckha motor road as soon as possible.
