ONGOING IMBROGLIO OVER CULTURE FUND EVICTION
Support A1+!A number of Armenian organisations convened a news conference on Friday in Armenian Culture Fund support.
It should be reminded that National Sciences Academy state organisation sued the Fund demanding it to be evicted from the premises belonging to the Academy.
The Fund’s chair Arevshat Avagyan is strongly opposed to the demand denouncing it as greed and consumerism.
In his words, the Academy president Fadey Sargssyan provided four rooms from the Fund-possessed premises to Justice Ministry “as a bribe to secure his illegal deals”.
Chair of Investigating Journalists Association Edik Baghdasaryan said the journalists are trying to trace the fate of the money the Academy got from leasing premises and from other transactions.
