ONE YEAR OF CORRECTIONAL WORK FOR HINDERING JOURNALIST'S WORK
Support A1+!Today the Court of the First Instance of Center and Nork-Marash, with Gayaneh Karakhanyan at the head, finished the hearings of the case on hindering the professional activities of Armenian Times reporter Arman Galoyan. The Court found Armen Vardanyan guilty and sentenced to 1 year of correctional work in his office, with 20% of the wages being passed to the state budget.
The accused also compensated the financial damage to Arman Galoyan, which made $50. The decision can be appealed against within 15 days. But the accused is not likely to do it. He also said that he is sorry about what he had done.
