“BANNED” FROM THE NORTH AVENUE
Support A1+!A small group of people “banned” from the North Avenue were today gathered in front of the President’s residence. The aim was to get the answer to the letters sent to Robert Kocharyan and NA President Arthur Baghdasaryan two weeks ago. As for the first letter, it was informed from the letter department of the President that it was sent to the Yerevan municipality that very day. As for the second letter, the answer came from NA that it is being discussed by the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
It might be useful to remind that the participants of the meeting have been trying for a year to find the answer to their questions in different state structures and courts. About 20 cases have been discussed in the latter, and all of them have resulted not in favour of the residents of the Avenue. Also, the Government added a small sum to that miserable sum paid for the houses. By the way, some of the participants said that they have witnessed cases of corruption when the residents gave the authorities a small sum for the additional sum to be a little bit larger. They made it sure that in case of necessity they can prove it.
