“NO-MAN’S LAND” PREMIERE OCTOBER 30
Support A1+!Today the commission on the organization of jubilee events held a sitting dedicated to the 70-th birthday of Hrant Matevosyan. Commission chairman, RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan presided over the sitting.
The commission members discussed the fulfillment of orders fixed at the previous sitting and considered the upcoming measures. It was said that the majority of over 20 events have been already held and presently preparatory works targeted at the implementation of the final stage of jubilee events are being carried out. In part, on October 30 in the Yerevan Drama Theater after Hr. Ghaplanyan the premiere of “No-man’s land” play will take place. It is also planned to inaugurate memorial stone in the yard of the building where Hrant Matevosyan used to live, open the house-museum of the writer, publish two-volume book of his works and organize a scientific conference.
By the decision of the commission the unveiling ceremony of the monument will take place in Vanadzor on November 12 and the core event – the jubilee evening dedicated to Hrant Matevosyan’s birthday – will be held December 2 in the National Academic Theater of Opera and ballet after A. Spendiaryan.
