Yesterday the soldiers Razmik Sargsyan, Musa Serobyan and Arajik Zaryan accused of the “Mataghis” case went on hunger - strike in the Noubarashen criminal isolation cell. Today their relatives started a hunger - strike in Erablur in their sons’ protection.

The lawyer of the defendants Zaruhi Postandjyan informed about it today. “This way of protest is determined by the illegal steps of the prosecutor Anahit Eghazaryan and the Court of Appeal lawyer Mher Armaghanyan. The court ceased their case hearings thus depriving the boys of their chance to use their rights prescribed by law. The court rejected all the mediations which could exclude the defendants’ connection with the murder,” complained Zaruhi Postandjyan.

Let us remind you that the defendants are accused of the murder of NK Mataghis regiment soldiers Hovsep Mkrtoumyan and Roma Eghazaryan. Razmik Sargsyan has just finished a 100 - day hunger - strike.
