«A-320 FELL AT A TERRIBLE SPEED»

Social

«In my opinion the Georgian side wants to politicize the issue and to create tension between Armenia and Russia». This was the opinion of famous pilot Dmitriiy Adbashyan, the head of the National Aviation Union, during the press conference in connection with the A-320 crash.

The guest of «Azdak» club asked those present to ask questions only proceeding from the known facts. Nevertheless, the questions exceeded these limits. Could the plane clear the bar if it was already going to land? Was there as much fuel in the plane as it is told to be? Is it true that the Adler airport dispatchers were drunk? Is it possible that the Armenian pilot did not answer the question of the Georgia dispatcher about the quantity of fuel and told them “we are returning to Yerevan”? Is it possible that part of the conversation is cut off? Why did the Adler dispatcher order to make a second circle if the Armenian pilot claimed there is something wrong with the plane? These were the questions the journalists asked Mr. Adbashyan.

The latter answered directly, “Al your questions will be answered by the record boxes which I think will be found today”. Still, there is one thing he is sure of: the plane fell into the water uncontrollably at such a terrible speed that the pilot did not manage to tell the dispatcher anything. According to him, this can explain why the plane has broken to pieces. Besides, according to him, if there were extra fuel on board, it must have spread on the surface of the sea, but it didn’t.

Adbashyan also claims that the factor of the weather could not be a cause for the crash. Remembering a case from his own experience he told how the right hand engines of the plane IL-18 stopped while flying over the Sevan. Later on the specialists found out that the reason was the energy station in village Noratus. Their powerful magnetic vibrations stopped the engines of the plane.
