GAS PIPELINE “IRAN-TURKEY” EXPLODED: THE FLAME COULD BE SEEN FROM YEREVAN

A part of gas pipeline «Iran-Turkey» exploded at night of September 29, iran.ru informs. There are human casualties.

According to several sources, the explosion was set off by the Kurdish Labor Party the activity of which is prohibited in Turkey. The flames of the fire which broke out as a result of the explosion could be seen at a distance of 45 kilometers. No other details are being reported.

By the way, tonight at about 00:05 until 00:30 a.m. the residents of Yerevan could observe fire behind Little Ararat. Down the mountain, from the Turkish side, periodical flames could bee seen. It is difficult to say what exactly it was, but it might be the flame of the exploded pipeline.
