Would you like Levon Ter-Petrosyan to become RA President again? Obviously, this question has aroused a great public interest. A1+ Company has questioned over 100 Yerevan citizens in this connection.

34 out of 100 respondents were against Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s nomination. “We saw nothing but darkness, cold and misery during his office. Why should we vote for Ter-Petrosyan?”

Though they point out the utter chaos in the country they don’t have any intention to elect the first president.

“I still remember my children studying by a candle. I don't want those years to be back,” said Ms Karine, a mother of two children. 46-year-old Hayk complained of the authorities and said, “The state of Armenia is far from being perfect. But things were even worse during Ter-Petrosyan's office. ”

29 respondents were for RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan's nomination. According to them, Ter-Petrosyan is the very person who can defeat the acting authorities.

“People hate the authorities and are discontent with the opposition. It is high time Levon Ter-Petrosyan returned,” said 42-year-old taxi-driver Arsen.

“We had a country of law and order during Levon Ter-Petrosyan's office. Nowadays we are deprived of everything. The country has turned into ooze,” said 66-year-old Shushan.

Twenty-six people refused to answer the question and eleven people gave evasive answers.

Reminder, though RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan still keeps silent, Armenian Pan-National Movement (HHSh) Chairman Ararat Zurabyan announced that the party is going to name Levon Ter-Petrosyan during the 2008 presidential elections.
