PC SPECIALIST DELAYED COURT HEARING
Support A1+!“I have come to fix your computer”, said a young man entering the court room today. Entering the room during the court hearing on the case of “Royal Armenia” Company, the young looked around bewildered and announced that he had come to fix the computer. Judge Suren Ghazaryan asked 5 minutes of break to solve the problems with the computer.
After returning from the 5-minute break, the Court decided to delay the hearing until 16 November. Ashot Sargsyan, lawyer of the heads of “Royal Armenia” tried to find out whether their evidences had been recorded or not. Gagik Hakobyan was to give evidences today. Besides giving evidences he managed to answer to the questions of his attorney. We should remind that the heads of the “Royal Armenia” were accused of avoiding taxies, falsifying documents and smuggling.
Before giving evidences the Judge reminded Gagik Hakobyan of his rights - to confess his guilt. However, Mr Hakobyan said that he had nothing to confess. Reflecting on Vache Petrosyan’s accusation, Gagik Hakobyan gave contradicting evidences saying that Mr Petrosyan was involved in laundering money. As to the accusation of money laundering, Mr Hakobyan said: “This is a virtual accusation. I do not have dirty money, and in general, I am not engaged in money laundering”.
Vache Petrosyan had been involved in deception, since he had always announced that he was not going to show his incomes. FIG is the only organization in “Royal Armenia’s” history that provoked problems for the Company.
As to Vache Petrosyan’s declarations that Gagik Hakobyan allegedly threatened to kill him, Mr Hakobyan noted: “I only warned him to be cautious, since his false accusation may send his children to jail one day”.
