“THEY ARE INNOCENT UNTIL THEIR CRIME IS PROVED”

An additional preliminary investigation has been conducted on the “Nataghis” case.

Advocates Stepan Voskanian and Haik Alumian must get acquainted with the material by December 22.

“We shall file petitions after the material study. If our petitions are rejected we shall continue to protect the guys,” Advocate Haik Alumian told A1+.

The Appellate Court faced a dilemma either to find a final solution to the matter or to send the case to an additional investigation, he said.

President of the Advocatory Chamber Ruben Sahakian also thinks the Appellate Court had better stop criminal pursuit. The lack of proofs testifies that the boys are innocent.

Reminder: Razmik Sargsian, Musa Serobian and Arayik Zarian were sentenced to life imprisonment. They are charged with the assassination of Mataghis servicemen Roma Eghiazarian and Hovsep Mkrtumian. After three years’ imprisonment they were released under a Cassation Court’s decision. The case was sent to a preliminary investigation.
