Support A1+!“The judicial system of Armenia is far from being flawless due to its low rating,” said Doctor of Laws and Chairman of Chairman of Board of Experts of the Advocatory Chamber Enoq Azarian.
According to Mr. Azarian, people do not instill confidence in justice as courts do not perform their functions.
Representatives of the system are not always objective and competent. They frequently abuse their power. The other two branches probably exert pressure on courts.
Very often judges try to justify their steps saying they are subjected to pressure. But I do think that if a judge is professional he would resist pressure as justification is inappropriate for people administrating justice in the country.
Many attorneys secretly cooperate with the prosecutor's office causing harm to people. This is really a great concern for people. We must think of methods to combat this phenomenon, Azarian said with regard to discredited judge Pargev Ohanian.
Under the Law “on Advocacy” an advocate is discredited in case he infringes the law, offends his partner, etc.
