“They often threatened us and we have evidences. Mher Sedrakyan called the editorial office after our first publication and swore us. We simply published about the presents distributed by the district municipality. The second publication was yesterday, when the newspaper responded to the swearing”, said Shogher Matevosyan to “A1+”. The second suspected person is Serge Sargsyan’s driver Vacho. “He approached one of our correspondents at the NA and made remarks on the photos that we publish”, she said.
Despite this “Chorrord Ishkhanutyun” newspaper will be published tomorrow. “The newspaper will continue its activities. It will say its word. They wanted to frighten us by explode, but they cannot do that. Quite the opposite, I will not only continue, but I will be more severe. We’ll see whether the explosion is tough or the word”, ensured Shogher Matevosyan.
She doubted to say the extent of damage since they had not counted yet. But they noticed that the TV set was out of order, the paintings on the walls were damaged, windows and chandeliers were broken and the door was completely destroyed.
