Condolence book at U.S. Embassy
Senator Edward M. Kennedy, brother of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, died on August 25, 2009 at the age of 77. Senator Kennedy was a major figure of the U.S. Senate for 46 years. President Obama noted on his passing that, "For five decades, virtually every major piece of legislation to advance the civil rights, health and economic well being of the American people bore his name and resulted from his efforts." A condolence book will be available for the public to sign on Monday, August 31, from 10 am to 5 pm, at the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan.
