Trout price went up
The global economic crisis has affected the business of fishmongers.
"If previously we sold 30-40 kg fish a day, nowadays we sell 12 kg at best, says fishmonger Armen.
"We hardly have costumers the whole day. People cannot afford their bare necessities since they have no money. The crisis has greatly affected our pockets," said Erik.
Even if the prices go down it won't boost the business.
The price of trout has gone up from AMD 3000 to AMD 3500-4000 over the last15 days.
Fishmongers say they cannot even earn the price for the rent but they are not going to give up the business on the eve of New Year.
Remind that the hunt of trout and whitefish is banned in Lake Sevan in this season of the year.
