Two Armenian women killed in Las Vegas
Two Armenian immigrants, 50-year-old Anoush Sarkisian and her 22-year-old daughter, were shot dead in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Sun reports that Metro Police continue to investigate the deaths which took place on Sunday in the 1800 block of Warrenville Street in the western Las Vegas Valley.
Officers said a man, identified as Gregg Thomas, 23, of Las Vegas, apparently forced his way into a home and fatally shot the two women. The location of the shooting is southeast of the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai Way.
The victims lived in Las Vegas and were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, police said.
Thomas, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head and was outside the apartment when police arrived, died of his injuries at UMC on Monday.
