Father of murdered son gets revenge
On Sunday, November 14, a murder was reported in Yerevan, which could otherwise be called "vendetta."
Sargis Vardikyan, 13, was taken to the Erebuni Medical Center with multiple stab-cut wounds in the neck and other parts of the body.
The boy died in hospital without regaining consciousness.
Sargis was one of the two suspects charged with the murder of 12-year-old Sos Melkonyan in 2009. Sargis was released for lack of corpus delicti.
Sos is a descendant of famous Gzhoyan family.
Sargis Vardikyan turned out to have been stabbed to death by Sos's father, Artak Melkonyan. Artak surrendered to the police presenting the bloody knife.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 104 of the Armenian Criminal Code (murder).
There are fears that the feud will continue.
