Monument dedicated to Assyrian victims to be unveiled in Yerevan

At the initiative of "ATOUR" Assyrian Association of Armenia, a monument dedicated to the Assyrians killed by the Ottoman Empire in 1915 will be unveiled in Yerevan's Oval Park.

The monument will be erected in a 16-square-meter area allotted by the Yerevan Municipality in with a November 12, 2008 decision.

The construction will be completed in 18 months.
