Beaten to death at the cemetery
The RA Police have revealed a murder that took place on November 25. On that day, police found the body of a 50-55-year old man near the railway in the "Zonal Kayan" district of Abovyan. According to a release by the police, they identified the body of 53-year old resident of Abovyan city, Gegham Poghosyan.
Continuing the investigation, the officers of Kotayk headquarters, the investigative department of the Kotayk province and police officers of Kotayk found out that 34-year old Artyom S. had beaten G. Poghosyan to death at the cemetery in Ptghni village and had transferred his body to the railway of the "Zonal Kayan" district.
Artyom S. showed up to the police headquarters and confessed the crime on November 29 at 18:00.
Artyom S. is under arrest.
