Fire in central Yerevan
The fire that broke out in apartment #44 of building 5a on Vardanants Street in Yerevan last night caused somebody's death.
According to the Armenian Rescue Service, two firefighting crews and the on-duty group of the special rescue squadron left for the scene and the fire was put out at 00:36 a.m.
RA Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan was also at the scene. The fire left S. Tamazyan's 45 square meter living room completely burnt.
After putting out the fire, firefighters found the burnt body of Seda Tamazyan (born in 1921). While putting out the fire, two firefighters received burns and were transferred to the burns center in Yerevan. The firefighters received medical treatment and were transferred out. The reasons for the fire are not mentioned.
