RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan was surprised to see the parents of soldiers killed in peace in front of the government building again today after their meeting with newly appointed Military Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan on January 29.

"The Minister of Defense approached us and asked why we were there. After the 4-hour meeting with the prosecutor, we now believe in the restoration of justice. The meeting was reassuring. We won't be coming here for a while and see how everything proceeds," soldier Tigran Ohanjanyan's mother Gohar Sargsyan told "A1+".

The mother of soldier Valery Muradyan, who was killed in peace a year ago, believes that the change of the military prosecutor will help reveal her son's murder.

"They had suspended my son's case, but the prosecutor considered that as invalid. It seems as though there was some progress during the discussion. We are waiting with hope," said Nana Muradyan.

Although the newly appointed Military Prosecutor has instilled some faith in the victims' parents, they will not give up the fight.

"When I am convinced that the Military Prosecutor is working on full revelation of the case, I won't come here anymore," said Artak Nazaryan's mother Hasmik Hovhannisyan.

Soldier Arayik Avetisyan's mother Anahit Mkrtchyan says if their expectations are not met, they will continue the struggle and anticipate justice from the international court.
