Bird gets struck in plane engine
A bird got stuck in the engine of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 on Tuesday as the aircraft was trying to land in Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport.
The plane was returning from Astrakhan.
"No incidents occurred. The aircraft underwent examination and will head to Tehran," said Nana Avetisova, a spokesperson for Armavia national carrier.
The Company purchased the aircraft in April 2011.
