Will they accept Ashotyan’s invitation?
RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan has invited correspondents of the educational sphere of Turkey and Azerbaijan to Armenia.
Armenia and Poland will be presiding the Bologna Process from 1 July to 31 December 2011. In light of that, the RA Ministry of Education and Science has scheduled to hold several events in Armenia within the framework of the Bologna Process agenda.
On 3-10 July 2011, the ministry envisages organizing an International Summer School for Students with the purpose of bringing together students of Armenia and Bologna Process-member countries and discuss several key issues regarding the Bologna Process. On 8-9 September, it is foreseen to hold an international conference devoted to funding for higher education.
The conference will lead to a platform for discussions with the purpose of exchanging views on different mechanisms for funding higher education, as well as their impact on the quality of education, equality and efficiency. RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, among the ministers of other Bologna Process-member countries, has sent invitations to the president of the higher education council of Turkey and Azerbaijan's Minister of Education for participation in the events to be held in Armenia within the framework of the agenda, reported the press service of the MES.
