Yerevan State Linguistic University tutor Davit Fahradyan set another record on June 22, with 450 turns on a horizontal bar, which was more than the standard 350.

"I won a moral victory today for my nation," Fahradyan told journalists after completing the turns on the bar.
"To tell the truth, today I performed the turns with difficulty as I felt acute pain after the 200th turn but I was able to overcome the ordeal," Davit said adding that he had not trained for a long time.

The turns were recorded on tape and will be sent to the Guinness World Records Commission in London to renew Davit's previous record.

"The key to success lies in two factors: first, an athlete should be gifted, second the coach should be clever enough to set him on the right path," said David's Coach Gagik Keshishyan.

"I cannot set a record like David but I want to become a world champion," said eleven-year-old Narek Zargaryan who was intensively calculating the turns.

Davit has already received two certificates from the Guinness Book of Records. He first went down in the book in June 2009 after making 250 turns on the bar. In November 2010 Davit set his second record after performing 76 high bar giants with his left hand.
