Miss Universe announced
Angolan Leyla Lopez was announced Miss Universe 2011, followed by Ukrainian Olesya Stefanko in second place and Brazilian Priscilla Machado in third.
Sixteen beauties from France, Kosovo, Colombia, China, Angola, Puerto Rico, Brazil, the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, Costa Rica, the Philippines, Portugal, Ukraine, Panama and Venezuela made it to the final round.
This year's Miss Universe was handed the crown by last year's beauty, Jimena Navarete. The total amount of prizes makes up 250,000 dollars.
