Programming contest due December 17
For the first time in Yerevan, the Microsoft Innovation Center, Yerevan Municipality and Public Journalism Club (PJC) are organizing a programming and innovative ideas contest which aims to reveal the problems of Yerevan city and promote citizens' participation in their solution.
Ready-made prototypes are expected to be used during the competition which will be realized by the municipality and structures concerned with the city's problems and will foster people's participation in information collection, thus strengthening relations between the city and its citizens.
To participate in the contest, participants need to fill in an application form. The contest kicks off on December 17 and will last 24 hours.
On December 18, the teams are to submit their programs, mobile solutions and websites to the jury. The winners will be announced on the same day.
