"Army without Assassins", "Don't Kill Our Children", "Acknowledge Our Right to Property"-these and other words were on the signs that citizens are holding during a protest near the government building. The government is currently in session.

The parents of soldiers who were killed in the army in peace or, based on the official version, committed suicide, as well as those who were thrown out of their homes in central districts of Yerevan for the major interest and the citizens who were deprived of their lands in the Dalma Gardens demand that the government respect and restore their violated rights.

Like every Thursday, the protest was under the control of RA Police headed by Robert Melkonyan, Valeri Osipov and others.

Among protesters was "Army in Reality" initiative activist Lala Aslikyan. "A1+"'s correspondent reports that several police officers approached Aslikyan and demanded that she stand "a little farther away" from the shade of the tree on the sidewalk. "This is persecution. I don't understand why they want me to stand a little farther away," Lala Aslikyan said.

We remind that last Thursday, police arrested Lala Aslikyan with the pretext that she hadn't stood "a little farther away". The activist had simply stood in the way of former RA Chief of Police Alik Sargsyan, who had come out of the government building and was trying to approach his car.

To move Lala Aslikyan out of the police chief's way, police officers pushed her away and arrested her after she screamed "criminal" to the police chief.
