Destroyed Dalma Gardens
Former owners of the Dalma Gardens are surprised to see that the construction equipment has demolished the gardens.
"They have destroyed my trees, just like the cross-stones that were destroyed in Nakhichevan," Jema Kirakosyan said.
The garden owners have caught the owner building a hotel-restaurant complex in their gardens.
"I am not your enemy," the owner rushed to justify himself.
Vaghinak Abelyan has been trying to convince the garden owners that the gardens are being destroyed by law.
"I have a court ruling," Vaghinak Abelyan said.
The garden owners are not giving up. Even though the equipment has already destroyed the gardens, the cultivators had agreements to take care of the gardens.
Their demand is that somebody to meet them and compensate for the losses.
"This land currently costs 300 dollars per square meter. I demand 10,000 dollar compensation," Armen Galstyan mentioned.
According to him, his 2,000 meter land has been stolen, and the others' lands have been stolen more or less. This took place 7 years ago when there was still no construction going on.
"If the person who stole the gardens hasn't done anything in the past three years, he is obliged to return it," Ofik Sargsyan informed.
The owner is not giving up and plans on calling the police to calm the garden owners down.
"I will go to the police," Vaghinak Abelyan threatened.
The garden owners say they will disturb construction every day and that the right thing is compensation.
