The 31st annual India International Trade Fair (IITF-2011) ended in New Delhi, India. The two-week fair kicked off on November 14.

The fair showcased agricultural goods and manufacturing products, as well as innovative technologies, jewelry, precious stones, clothes, leather items, silverware and furniture.

The two-week fair had a turnout of more than 500,000 visitors, and South Africa was recognized as the winning country based on the results of the trade fair-sale. The representatives of that country mentioned that their pavilion had more than 50,000 visitors a day, and even though they didn't receive many orders, most of the samples were sold in a week.

The annual international trade fair had brought together representatives of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Thailand and post-Soviet countries. Representing Armenia at the fair was Hayasi Group, which has been in the Armenian market since 2010.

The Armenian pavilion was the only one that showcased a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including vodka, brandy, juices and beer.

"The Indian visitors mostly liked Armenian brandy and vodka, as well as mineral water and juices. We mainly received questions and offers from the visitors, even those who weren't really interested in our products, but came to talk with us," Hayasi Group's marketing correspondent Khosrov Khosrovyan told "A1+".

According to sources, Hayasi Group belongs to Secretary of the National Security Council, leader of "Country of Law" Party Artur Baghdasaryan.
