Police operation in child’s presence
Police arrested Head of the Housing Communal Department of Etchmiadzin Municipality Norayr Mirzakhanyan last evening. According to the RA Police press release, Mirzakhanyan was arrested at the 2nd km section of the Etchmiadzin-Yerevan highway after being suspected of keeping narcotics. A 7.4 kg mass similar to marijuana was found in the pocket of his jacket.
Norayr Mirzakhanyan has been charged with Article 268 (2) of the RA Criminal Code.

According to "A1+"'s source, he was returning from a requiem with his 6-year old son when police stopped him on the road and "arrested him in the most cruelest ways and by twisting his arms".
The police left the child on the road and he was transferred home in a police car two hours later.
According to "A1+"'s source, Norayr Mirzakhanyan has not been allowed to meet with his lawyer.
