Roads in Armenia open to traffic
All roads in Armenia are passable as of 08.30am December 14, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In the meantime, the Department of Transportation of Georgia has banned the move for vehicles with more than 30 seats along Gudauri(Posta) -Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road. Movement for trailers and semi-trailers is permitted by application of antiskid chains, with the help of pulling chains (in ascents at the front part and in descents at the back part). For other type of vehicles traffic is free. Vehicles shall move through tunnels for snow protection. One-way traffic shall apply for trailers and semi-trailers in the tunnels under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
Traffic is free on the other sections of the road.
