Citizen’s trial inside and outside
Judge of the court of general jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts in Yerevan Gagik Poghosyan postponed the trial of Armenian National Congress activist Tigran Arakelyan.
Arakelyan was arrested on August 9 after a clash with police officers near Swan Lake. He is charged with Article 316 (Resistance against a State Representative) and Article 225 (Hooliganism) of the RA Criminal Code.
The next trial has been scheduled for December 27.
