Serzh Sargsyan today participated in the concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Public Radio of Armenia and the 55th anniversary of Armenian Public Television.

By the RA President's decrees, several employees received the High State Awards of the Republic of Armenia in light of the 85th anniversary of the Public Radio of Armenia and the 55th anniversary of Armenian Public Television. During the event, President Serzh Sargsyan presented the awards, congratulated everyone on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the recipients for their great efforts.

Journalist for the "First" news service of Armenian Public Television Nune Alexanyan, Director General of ARMENIA TV Gagik Mkrtchyan, editor-in-chief of Musical Programs of the Public Radio of Armenia Alisa Kalantaryan and Director General of ATV Hrach Keshishyan received the Movses Khorenatsi Medal for their notable contributions to the development of Armenian television and radio.

Director of Shoghakat Spiritual-Cultural Television Manya Ghazaryan received the Movses Khorenatsi Medal for prominent achievements in the spheres of art and culture.
Senior producer of the broadcasting service for Armenian Public Television Ruben Mkrtchyan, editor-in-chief of "Sport Studio" for Armenian Public Television Slavik sargsyan, creator of musical programs for Armenian Public Television Mark Petrosyan and translator-editor for programs in Azerbaijani at the Public Radio Marieta Vardanyan received the Movses Khorenatsi Medal for their longstanding activities and achievements in radio and television.

Creator of Armenian Public Television's "Hayits Hay" (More Armenian than Armenians) Arpen Movsisyan was granted the honorary title of Distinguished Cultural Figure of the Republic of Armenia for her long-running activities and merit.

Chief cameraman for Armenian Public Television Boris Petrosyan was granted the honorary ranking of Distinguished Cultural Figure of the Republic of Armenia for his longstanding career in Armenian television.
Senior journalist for the "First" news service of Armenian Public Television Artur Grigoryan was granted the honorary title of Distinguished Journalist of the Republic of Armenia for his merit in the development of Armenian journalism.
