Military partnership with Russia
This morning, the Armenian and Russian sides of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Partnership of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO/IMEP) started a joint wide-format session in Yerevan .
Among the participants are Secretary of the RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan, Deputy CSTO Secretary General Valeri Semerikov, Chair of the Armenian side of the CSTO/IMEP, RA Deputy Minister of Economy Garnik Badalyan, Chair of the Russian side of the CSTO/IMEP, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Igor Karavaev, as well as members of the Armenia and Russian sides of the CSTO/IMEP and the Executive Council adjunct to the CSTO/IMEP and other guests.
The session began with welcoming speeches by Secretary of the RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan and CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valeri Semerikov.
During the session, the sides will discuss the process of implementation of the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on Cooperation in the Creation of Joint Enterprises signed on 10 August 2010 by the RA Ministry of Defense and the Federal Service for Military-Economic Partnership of Russia (FSMEPR), as well as the issues on the perspectives of development of advertising exhibitions in the Republic of Armenia within the framework of the Agreement on Partnership in Advertising Exhibitions for Military-Economic Partnership between CSTO-member countries.
