Haykaz Makaryan ready to settle in Kashatagh but...
Twenty-two-year-old Haykaz Makaryan is ready to go and live in Kashatagh region of the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno Karabakh Republic), but his request has been turned down.
The reason for the rejection is that Haykaz does not have a family of his own which is a key criterion for young people who want to settle in Kashatagh. Haykaz says writer and publicist Meruzhan Ter-Gulanyan tried to assist him but had no success.
Today the young man lives in a rented house which he has to leave on May 10 as he cannot afford to pay the rent. Haykaz was unable to participate in the May 6 parliamentary election as he does not have a permanent place of abode.
The parentless boy has even applied to Serzh Sargsyan and Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan. He is convinced that Serzh Sargsyan would have contacted him,if the country's leader had receive d his letter.
Besides, Haykaz has sent about 2850 letters to different agencies, 43 of which have been addressed to Serzh Sargsyan.
"I have written to Mr Sargsyan that he is surrounded by unworthy people who defame the stat apparatus. These people cannot understand and appreciate Nzhdeh," says the young man considers himself a descendant of Garegin Nzhdeh's Ideology.
Haykaz has written more than 1200 poems and 4 novels. One of his poems, "Mr. Crazy," was published in 20 copies in 2010.
